Most Beautiful Island was one of the most brilliant debut films of 2017. Awarded with the Grand Jury Prize at the South By Southwest Festival (Austin, USA) and nominated</strong in the Independent Film Oscars, and the Independent Spirit Awards, is the debut behind the camera of the Spanish actress Ana Asensio.

The film was released by Con Un Pack in theaters on January 12, 2018, after passing through several festivals also at national level, such as Sitges, Abycine, Fancine (Malaga) or the Muestra de Cine Dirigido por Mujeres de Bilbao. Most Beautiful Island has been another example of sustainable distribution, with its tour of screenings in cinemas and a very extensive cultural circuit afterwards, supported by the countless good reviews.

For the promotion of it, they used the concept #NoCuentesElFinal (Don’t tell me how it ends), developed through an official website, profiles in social networks with that name and several presentations, performed by the “Madame de MBI” (played by Juana Andueza), in which a peculiar oath was carried out with the public, before the screening began.

You can still access the Facebook secret group, to maintain the silence and mystery about the end of the film and to have contact with the filmmaker.
SYNOPSIS

Luciana is a Spanish immigrant without papers in New York, whose precarious situation leads her to accept a one-night job, well paid and apparently simple. However, the offer will lead her to discover the cruel side of the American dream.
