• SMOKING CLUB. 129 RULES is the debut work ofAlberto UtreraFollowing its world premiere at the Malaga Film Festival. Spanish Cinema 2017, as part of the “Special Releases” section, the film was premiered on 7th of April 2017, through the sustainable distribution model promoted by ConUnPack, which in its first stage proposed screenings in cinemas in Madrid and Barcelona and a subsequent tour of screenings, based on on-demand events in other cities and screenings canallas in alternative theaters. All this with sponsorship/support from media and brands (such as VICE and Pay-Pay Paper).

  SHORT SYNOPSIS

  Oscar is a man in his forties who, after a life crisis, leaves his job as a civil servant and his girlfriend to set up a cannabis smoking club with a friend from university, lawyer Danny, with only one basic rule: “the club is a space of freedom”, a place to take refuge from the world and feel free… This rule turns out to be somewhat ambiguous, so they have to include 128 more to guarantee the freedom they want to offer to their clients. The problem comes when 3 kilos of weed disappear that were not supposed to be there.
