Produced by Aquiles Media and with the participation of the Spanish Rugby Federation and Canal Sur Television and the collaboration of RTVE, it is directed by the renowned sports director Casimiro Oltra. Quince’ reviews in just over an hour and a half the golden age of Spanish rugby from the mid-eighties to the mid-nineties of the last century.
Synopsis:
At a time when playing rugby was more than just a sport, a legend was forged. “Quince” offers us a journey through the golden age of Spanish rugby, from the late eighties to the early nineties, through the history of Ciencias Rugby. The beginnings of Spanish rugby; what it was like to play in Santboi, Getxo or Valladolid; the day the Maoris bit the dust in the old Chapina; the story of Alberto Malo; the Central, the cathedral of rugby; the legend of Bosco Abascal, the Spanish Lomu or the saga of the Torres Morote are some of the stories that you will discover in this journey through time. Rugby, a lot of rugby, but above all the incredible story of men who, with hard work, effort and perseverance, proved that any goal can be achieved.
