In October 2015, a small group of fans of the film “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly”, by Sergio Leone, come to the location of the final scene of the film in Burgos. Almost 50 years after the filming, they intend to dig up and restore the splendor of the mythical Sad Hill cemetery. The news spreads like wildfire and every weekend the number of volunteer fans who are encouraged to rebuild the scene increases.
El documental de Guillermo de Oliveira explores the motivations of the people behind this effort. His forces were joined by such celebrated collaborations as those of Clint Eastwood, protagonist of the honored film, directors like Álex de la Iglesia o Joe Dante, the composer Ennio Morricone or the very James Hetfield, leader of the Metallica group.
